We never eat our Gingerbread House - at first it seems too soon and we want to enjoy it for a little longer - then it sits for so long that it becomes too dusty to eat. We then feel it necessary (eventually) to take a hammer to it because that's the only thing that will break it up!
On Saturday we finally took the hammer to the Gingerbread House - so sad.

The poor thing and it looked so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI know - it felt terrible to do but we couldn't have eaten it.
DeleteThat is the problem, they are so pretty you don't eat them, and then they get dusty! Yours was very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame - it probably needs to be under a big glass dome to keep it edible. I would hate having to put the hammer to it.
